Terms of service.

Third Space Artworks (hereby referred to as ‘the company’) is committed to providing a safe experience for everyone who attends our events. The company will do everything in their power to ensure the safety of all attendees. In the context of events, the company will assess the risk posed to attendees in fine detail, and make adjustments where necessary to minimise said risk. The safety of our attendees is the top priority.

Crafts

During Third Space events, there will often be elements where attendees can engage in crafting activities. The company will take steps to minimise the risk to the public. In most cases, these will be fairly low-impact steps, using non-toxic paints and glues, using safety-checked equipment. Even so, children under 13 MUST be accompanied by an adult caregiver, who is ultimately responsible for the safety of the child in their care. The company is responsible for making the event as safe as possible for everyone.

-Cutting

In most cases, attendees will not have to cut anything, and will be using pre-cut pieces. In such cases where this is not possible, ANYONE under 13 years old MUST be accompanied by an adult caregiver. For attendees 13 or over, if the attendee is not confident with using the cutting tool provided, they can ask an event steward for help. In all cases, the company is not liable for any injury caused, in the unlikely event one should occur.

-Glues and other Adhesives, Spray Paints and other Paints, other chemicals

In all cases where glues and other adhesives are used, the company will provide the necessary safety equipment (gloves, face masks, and where necessary, aprons). The bonding will take place in a well-ventilated environment (usually outdoors). The safety equipment provided by the company MUST be worn in order to participate. If safety equipment is not worn, and safety protocols not followed, the company accepts no liability for injury or damage to property.

-Tools and Equipment

In most cases, tolls and equipment needed for crafts will include low-risk items such as:

paint brushes, rollers, and drawing equipment such pens, pencils, and rulers.

In some cases, higher-impact items will be needed such as:

hammers, air brush, clamps, sandpaper
