What Went Down?

Firstly; the food!

Chris prepared skewers of seasoned chicken, grilled halloumi cheese, and a salad bar. I don’t eat meat, but the chicken kebabs were hugely popular, and did smell delicious! The halloumi was also a delight, and the salad crisp and refreshing. All were served in a pita bread, making for a handy (and satisfying) parcel of good food.

As for the theming of the event, it went down well with those who saw it, but the food was so popular, I had to help out on the grill!

Greek BBQ.

The Greek BBQ was the idea of my old friend, Chris Serghiou. Chris is a passionate cook, and is looking to get into the events catering business. I came up with the idea of theming an event around the Greek BBQ, with information and activities related to ancient Greece (hence my costume!).

Overall, the event was a great success; the turnout was good, people enjoyed the food, and my costume went down well! Everyone who was there enjoyed themselves, and they’re already looking forward to the next BBQ! Certainly, for all future TSA events that are catered, Chris is the man for the job!

Cauldron of Creation

The Cauldron of Creation was my very first venture into art events. For this event, I teamed up with Scott from Chill Out skate shop in Wellington, and helped attendees to spray paint their own skateboard decks. As well as this, we had other art activities like keyring making going on, and everyone got to take home a goodie bag. The vibes were good and everyone there had a good time in the studio.

For a first event, it went well. There were definitely some lessons learned, but it was a good start, and the experience bodes well for future TSA events.
